Depending on your needs, we offer a light proofreading or heavy editing service.
We will highlight the mistakes in your writing and suggest corrections using the 'Track Changes' function in Microsoft Word. This allows you to toggle between editor suggestions - accepting only the changes you approve or all of them in one go - and have complete control over your final document.

Whether you are revising your Master's thesis or adapting an undergraduate assignment, it is important to get someone else to proofread your paper. Your familiarity with what you have just finished writing can make you skip over a lot of errors, but someone reading the paper for the first time comes to it with completely fresh eyes. Your paper should be proofread only after all other editing revisions have been made.

Fees

Our editing service costs R55.50 per page (275 words) and our proofreading service R44 per page. For most projects we can estimate the hours required, if you provide us with the following information: number of words or number of double-spaced A4 pages; service required; topic of paper and time constraints. All costs will be calculated and agreed upon before work commences and a 15% deposit is payable upon approval.
